State Representative Thaddeus Kirkland's poor reaction to youth...



High School Students throughout Chester marched to Chester City Hall but found it closed so they go over to State Representative Thaddeus Kirkland's office to demand his help to get funding for their school district. Watch his response...

I don't think his reaction was poor at all. He has done a lot for the City and surrounding communities. He is only one person in a republican controlled Harrisburg. Those people bombarded him like thugs, screaming and yelling. What happened to having a normal sit down meeting. Most of those people don't care they just want to cause trouble and create disorder. Those people should have been working and in school. All that nonsense isn't going to get them anywhere.

I think what the young people did was impressive. They chose not to tolerate the empty promises of the adults. No need to follow the rules of a broken system. KEEP ON FIGHTING! I'm proud of these young people. They were not complicit to the oppression of their crumbling district. They accomplished more in a couple of hours than most adults have over years and years of playing politics with the children's future.
